About the Position:

The College of Health Care Professions (CHCP) is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant Program Director to lead and oversee our Medical Assistant program. This role involves leveraging your expertise to develop and deliver high-quality education services, supervising program staff, and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards. As the Program Director, you will guide students through their educational journey, ensuring they receive the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the healthcare field.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and deliver the Medical Assistant program curriculum.
  • Supervise staff and provide oversight for the Medical Assistant program.
  • Prepare course plans and materials to meet educational objectives.
  • Monitor and manage student progress, attendance, and advising.
  • Ensure continued compliance with Federal, State, and Institutional accreditation agencies.
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment for students and staff.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant field experience.
  • Previous experience as a Medical Assistant Instructor preferred.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in the Medical Assistant field.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining compliance with accreditation standards and fostering student success.
