The College of Health Care Professions (CHCP) is seeking an Echocardiography Sonography Instructor to deliver engaging curriculum and provide hands-on guidance to students. In this role, you will create a positive and supportive learning environment, helping students achieve their educational goals and fostering their professional development. Responsibilities:
Provide competency-based education aligned with CHCP’s model of curricula.
Develop and deliver instructional plans and activities that meet course competencies.
Foster a classroom environment conducive to learning and student involvement.
Monitor and manage student progress, attendance, and grade reporting.
Offer weekly feedback and guidance to students, ensuring opportunities for improvement.
Manage the learning environment by keeping accurate records, enforcing policies, and submitting reports on time.
Contribute to campus initiatives and serve on special project committees.
Relate industry experience to learning by incorporating professional trends and skills into the curriculum.
Attend Program Advisory Committee meetings annually to ensure program relevance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Associate degree or higher.
Appropriate credential(s) specific to sonography concentrations offered.
Proficiency in teaching methodology, supervision, evaluation, and guidance.
Minimum of three years full-time professional experience as a general, cardiac, pediatric cardiac Sonographer, or vascular technologist.
