The College of Health Care Professions (CHCP) is seeking an Echocardiography Sonography Instructor to deliver engaging curriculum and provide hands-on guidance to students. In this role, you will create a positive and supportive learning environment, helping students achieve their educational goals and fostering their professional development. Responsibilities:

• Provide competency-based education aligned with CHCP’s model of curricula.
• Develop and deliver instructional plans and activities that meet course competencies.
• Foster a classroom environment conducive to learning and student involvement.
• Monitor and manage student progress, attendance, and grade reporting.
• Offer weekly feedback and guidance to students, ensuring opportunities for improvement.
• Manage the learning environment by keeping accurate records, enforcing policies, and submitting reports on time.
• Contribute to campus initiatives and serve on special project committees.
• Relate industry experience to learning by incorporating professional trends and skills into the curriculum.
• Attend Program Advisory Committee meetings annually to ensure program relevance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Associate degree or higher.
• Appropriate credential(s) specific to sonography concentrations offered.
• Proficiency in teaching methodology, supervision, evaluation, and guidance.
• Minimum of three years full-time professional experience as a general, cardiac, pediatric cardiac Sonographer, or vascular technologist.
